I was taught that you can train your subconscious with affirmations. After all, neuroscientists say your subconscious shapes more than 95% of your life. If you don’t know what your subconscious is trying to communicate or how it is blocking you, you can’t make changes.
We all have blockages in our belief-systems that keep us from being the person we are meant to be. We might believe we are not good enough, we do not deserve wealth, we are not strong, or we are not worthy to live a fulfilled live.
What Are Affirmations?
Affirmations are positive statements that can help you overcome negative thinking. When you repeat them often, and believe in them, you can start to have positive results in the area of love, health or money. Affirmations can change our patterns of thinking, so we are able to think and therefore act in a more constructive way, even if you do not believe they are true at the moment. You can use them in all areas as love, health or money.
Affirmations should be simple sentences that even a little child could understand. They should be short, uplifting, motivational and clear so they speak to your subconsious. Affirmations should not be abstract.
Best Practices For Affirmations
Consider doing some “Affirmation Journaling”. I highly recommend writing down your personal statement, then spending 5-10 minutes a day reviewing your affirmation. Make it a habit and you know it takes up to 21 days to form a habit.
It is very important when working with affirmations, that you always keep in mind you have the choice to create the life you want. Maybe there are hidden beliefs you do not know now, but you can still use affirmations. Before beginning with the affirmation take your time and get in touch with yourself. I was taught to work from the inside out. For example with money affirmations, imagine what wealth and riches means to you. You can underline your affirmation with a vision-board or with music. There is no limit to your imagination.
Could You Use An Abundance Of Money?
This week we are doing an affirmation exercise on money. I want you to get a feeling for how they can work. It does not matter if you have a concrete money goal or not.
With a daily affirmation we raise our money frequency. And if you have no specific goal so far, it can lead you to a place in your inner world, were goals are then clear.
The more you practice your daily affirmation, the more you believe it. I recommend a minimum of twice a day; in the morning and before bedtime. The secret is to read the affirmations out loud, maybe in front of a mirror. As the week goes on you can feel a strong “YESSS!” course through your whole body.
Affirmation Of The Week
Money comes to me easily and effortlessly. I can fulfill all my dreams daily for the highest good of all.
You can change this suggestion to suit your own needs. Here are some more examples for your own money statement.
“I have always enough money to fulfill all my dreams for the highest good of all.”
“Money comes to me easily and effortlessly – Every day of my life I can live a life of abundance and freedom.”
These affirmations are “starters” for changing your frequency to money. When you feel safe with these ones, you could also try to use statements with concrete goals.
Keep in mind there is no right or wrong to work with affirmations. More important is that you feel comfortable with them. Think abundance, that there is no limit. An affirmation can stretch you, especially in the area of money. Often, we have beliefs that keep us far away from “Always Having More Than Enough.”
I want to encourage you to first create your own ritual before creating your life full of abundance. Please feel free to work with your affirmations the way that is best suited to you. The words are important but also the way you use your affirmations is equally important.
The topic of abundance & money is one of the most challenging ones. Let me guide you through this thought exercise:
Close your eyes and for a moment imagine you are a little child being taken care of by your parents:
Money? “My parents have it. They take care of it.”
Now, as an adult imagine:
Money? “The universe has it. It takes care of it.”
Now you understand and so we go forward this week, trusting in the abundance of life and love while practicing our affirmations daily.
