Affirmations – Improve Your Health And Healing Process

Affirmations, the steady repetition of positive sentences, can have astonishing health benefits as well as strengthening your body, mind and soul. When we are ill an affirmation such as: “I am healthy.” is not the best way to start. Instead consider something like this:

Affirmation Of The Week

“I am healing and feel stronger every day. My Immune System is improving every day. My whole body is feeling more and more vivid every day. I feel fresher and more renewed every day.”

Affirmations work with your subconscious – your partner.

Neuroscience has proven through much research over the past two decades that they work. Many diseases and dysfunctions have their origin in psychosomatic medicine. The same mechanism can support us in the opposite way for a healthier life. So let´s try to go for the optimistic approach.

A smile a day creates miracles!

I was taught a very powerful visualization I want to share. Imagine that all of your human cells are little organisms themselves. An adult has according to recent research, 30 trillion human cells: 30.0000.0000.0000.0000! Every day some die, and some are born. I do not want to go in scientific details, but consider that our whole body is constantly being renewed and a healthy body is balanced between the coming and going of human cells.

The affirmation could go like this:

“I see trillions and trillions of smiling cell faces in my whole body. They are happy, strong and powerful. They love life and are excited about all life brings and will bring!”

Affirmations are of course also effective for prevention

We can use positive statements not only on not so good days.

When we feel strong and powerful, we can say for example: “I am grateful for being healthy today. My body, mind and soul are in harmony today.”

When I am working with my clients on health, love and money, they say that health is their number one concern. After all, without your health love and money are not much use.

You can see an affirmation also as a boost to your state of body, mind and soul.

Talk to yourself as you were your best friend. Be gentle and soft with choosing your words. Maybe imagine, that you are writing a motivational phrase to a loved one, who has health problems.

“I believe in me and my healing process and I love myself and will experience a full recovery. Every day my condition becomes better and better.”

See affirmations as an encouragement to your health system.

When you do not feel good you probably do not believe in such positive sentences. The challenge is to write and say them, nevertheless. We have always the choice to be optimistic or pessimistic. Underlining our positive state of mind with affirmations leads to unbelievable results. Neuroscience had already proven years ago that we can influence our health with Optimism and a positive attitude towards life for the better.

Here one of my favorite quotes:

“People, who wonder if the glass is half empty or half full, miss the point. The glass is refillable.”

This statement is so important for issues with our health. Affirmations are just the starting point. We commit with practicing daily that we are willing to see improvement and open to positive changes.

As already said earlier, consider your subconscious as your partner. In our performance-oriented society perfectionism itself is already a kind of illness.

We should allow ourselves more often to be imperfect.

Here we would go with some statements that are very releasing.

“I allow myself to feel weak and I give myself permission to feel powerless. To fail is my right.”

The condition of your body, mind and soul is directly interlinked to your self-esteem and self-confidence. Therefore simple phrases as: “I deeply love and accept myself.” can work true wonders.

In Medicine working with positive statements of course, has its limits. But on the other hand, do not underestimate their impact. Even simple actions can make a big one. And affirmations are such actions that can be the reason for an increasing health well-being.

Positive sentences – written, silently or said out loud – help you to feel less drained and exhausted. The statement can mention concrete health issues, or it can also be general. Find the affirmation that are best suit you and creates positive outcomes on your health.
