Everyone you have contact with is a potential customer. Typically, people are wary of being sold something they don’t need, however, they are always looking for answers to their problems. You have to understand your role is one of helping rather than selling. Listening allows you to build a rapport, identify the need and then direct them to your solution.
Build Your Capacity As a Leader
Take a look at the leaders in your industry. You will see that traits of those leaders often include passion, tenacity, vision, a desire to succeed and a willingness to embrace change. Shifting your mindset is key to your success as a leader. Embed the practice of leadership in your daily living. Invest in ongoing personal growth through education, training, coaching and peer group involvement. This will allow you to hone your leadership skills. Leaders do attract followers naturally.
Bringing Value to Your Market
Be prepared to deliver tons of value. “Give so much value that people can’t ignore you!”
Build a package that meets other’s needs and include free value. The no-cost offers often serve as your introduction and provide the initial contact with your potential customer. People will be attracted to you when you have something of value that they want.
