We are celebrating Kylie, number eleven in our series Aura of Woman Imagery. This series is showcasing women who embrace their unique Aura of Woman and share it with the world.
“After 19 years of marriage, my husband/best friend/love-of-my-life left filed for divorce, and immediately began seeing a very beautiful 22-year-old. I already felt insecure about my body. I’m 47 and have had six children so this made me feel even worse about myself. I needed to do something for myself, something positive, something outside my comfort zone.
I chose to do a nude photoshoot with April. I couldn’t be any happier with the results. Her pictures, and only her pictures, made me feel I wanted to try this. Her pictures are so beautiful. She is not just a brilliant photographer, but she has the biggest heart there is and she showed me I am beautiful.
She made me feel comfortable, confident, and proud. She showed me I’m enough no matter what. She got into the freezing river in the late fall to do this for me. We froze but it was beyond worth it to see what I never saw before. She has no idea what she does for people who feel less than.
Thank you, April for showing me that even at the age of 47, a failed marriage and 6 kids… I am amazing.”
