Welcome to this week’s Challenge Your Mindset. Thank you again for allowing me to share my thoughts with you. I hope that you get great value from this.
If you truly want to change your mindset, then you must change the way you describe yourself and the language you use to describe your situation. If you are constantly telling yourself and, god forbid, others how much you are struggling, I do not believe it is possible for you to ever change your situation.
You must do something that people rarely do and that is you must identify the fact that your habits have created your current results. This is a tough pill to swallow but if you are willing to accept it, you can change your situation. Nothing can change the past, however, with the right mindset training, you CAN change the way you THINK about those same circumstances.
You have to have a burning desire to change for the better. What you put in is what you will get out of anything. If you don’t put the effort in yourself, you will get nothing in return. You have to be motivated to overcome all obstacles that may get in your way. Nothing should be able to slow you down. Be driven. Go after whatever it is that you want. It doesn’t matter how small or large your wants are, if you just sit on the couch and watch TV, you won’t get anything. How can you really expect other people to see your success, or believe in you if you don’t believe in yourself?
What do you really want? Do you want to teach? What do you want to own? Where do you want to live? How do you want to live each day? Only you can answer these questions, and only you can achieve the results. You have to WANT to.
Be in control of your own mind. You cannot control all the things that happen in your daily life, but you have the ability to control how you deal with those problems. You can find something positive from every negative thing that happens. Trust in yourself. Never-ever-ever -ever give up. You MUST HAVE a burning DESIRE to succeed.
