What is Incognito?

Incognito, also known as privacy or porn mode, is a feature of browsers that disables the ability to store local data and searching history. The tracking is done through small computer files called cookies. How you access the private mode depends on your browser of choice.  Here are the three most common.

  1. Open Browser and look in the top right corner.

  3. Choose New Incognito Window.
  4. A New Window will open up with At Forty Five Incognito 1 in the top right.

Firefox Browser: Private Window

  1. Open Browser and look in top right hand corner.
  2. Click on the Menu Icon At Forty Five Chrome 1 and choose the New Private Window.

     Internet Explorer Browser: InPrivate  

  1. Open Browser. Depending on what version, look for theAt Forty Five IE three-dots_0 or At Forty Five ie-gear-icon_.
  2. Click on the icon and choose New InPrivate Window.
  3. A new window will open and you will see the InPrivate in the top right.
