Summer Dressing, Confidently Break Rules

I feel confidence comes with age and with age, it should be easier to find clothes and accessories that work in our real lives. By now I know what suits me and what doesn’t. It is one of the benefits of aging. Coming into our own style. To me, what is important is wearing what you like, and what makes you happy.

The one fashion rule I follow is to buy multiples of the basics; the pieces you will wear to death. It is all about streamlining and refining our wardrobes. So, don’t be afraid to try and work some trends into your wardrobe that break the rules.

You might think pink looks too candy for a mature woman but all I want to say is don’t be afraid of wearing one color head to toe even if it is not the regular black or white. Today fashion has changed so much and women are looking for minimalistic and clean chic pieces. That explains why onesies and monochromatic looks are so in again.

In the new era of exhibitionism, its all about making your outfit pop. Andy Warhol is a huge inspiration for 2018 Spring and Summer. Have fun with it! Don’t be afraid to add personality.
