Can you imagine waking up feeling fabulous? How does it feel? Where are you? What is the first thing you do when you get out of bed? How does it look around you? What do you see? Who are you loving? What activities do you have planned?
I ask this question because often in our busy lives we aspire to a feeling, we buy into the hype, but words are so shallow. They can mean nothing and that is why we need to ask some questions. We need to do a deeper dive.
I created this 21 Day Challenge: Reconnecting With The Fabulous You because I took the roundabout way and I don’t want you to.
Do You Know You?
I often share the story of coming into my own in my mid-fifties. The catalyst, a question from my daughter on what color was my favorite. I mean who doesn’t know that? Sadly I didn’t.
It came as a shock that I was spending my life in service to others and I didn’t even know how to “know me”. I had been on autopilot for years just moving on, growing older, raising kids, getting a career to a level of success, being a mother, a daughter, a wife, a friend. It seems I was pushing everything I needed down under my feet as I stepped up to meet the challenges of life.
I do believe everything has a time, but my wish is this challenge will save you valuable time and give you extra years to be fabulous, to feel fabulous, and to live a fabulous life.
I have to come to see my purpose is to gift other women support to live a fabulous life and the best example I can be, is to own that for myself.
Does Your Personal Motto Serve You?
One of the challenges is to find a personal motto to lead you as you navigate what is next. A motto I adopted early on in my journey is “Your life is a story. Sell the movie rights girl.” It inspires me to look at everything I do as part of “my movie”. Let me tell you that has made life a lot of fun. It has also taken the work out of being happy. When you are open to finding joy in everything you do, it just seems easier to feel fabulous.
Of course, this is not rocket science and you might think I should know how to do this. Well, we know so much, but sometimes it is hard to take the first step or focus on the details. Sometimes it is the simple things holding you back…perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed or lost. Well, you can rediscover the fabulous you and create a new focus for yourself in 21 days. Don’t let life get in the way of knowing the fabulous you again.
